Room Types​

Instant Rooms​

Instant rooms are temporary sessions you create on demand. They're free and unlimited on all plans.

  • Create from your dashboard
  • Share the link with participants
  • Session ends when everyone leaves

Custom Personal Rooms​

Personal rooms have a permanent URL you can reuse for recurring sessions.

  • Permanent, memorable URL (e.g., meet.flowlabs.live/your-room-name)
  • Ideal for regular client sessions
  • Included in Pro and Studio plans

How Credits Work​

Credits are the currency for Flow session usage. Credits are used when you're live in a Flow room with your camera or stream active.

Credit Formula​

Credits used = Number of Participants × Time Streamed

Credit usage is measured by viewer time in-session.

Rooms With No Calls​

Rooms with no active call are billed at 30 Credits / Viewer Hr.

Credit Types​

Flow uses two types of credits, displayed separately in your dashboard:

Subscription Credits​

Included with Pro and Studio plans. These credits refill each billing cycle:

  • Pro: 3,740 Subscription Credits
  • Studio: 8,715 Subscription Credits

At the start of each billing cycle, your Subscription Credits are topped back up to your plan's allowance. For example, if you used 500 of your 3,740 Subscription Credits, you'll receive 500 back to bring you to 3,740.

Unused Subscription Credits can roll over into the next billing cycle, up to your plan's rollover cap.

Rollover caps:

  • Pro: Rollover unused credits (max 7,480)
  • Studio: Rollover unused credits (max 17,430)

Additional Usage Rates​

When subscription credits are depleted, additional usage is billed at:

  • Personal: 125 Credits / Viewer Hr
  • Pro: 110 Credits / Viewer Hr
  • Studio: 105 Credits / Viewer Hr

Pay As You Go Credits​

Purchase extra credits anytime from your dashboard. These are added to your Pay As You Go credits balance.

  • Never expire - your Pay As You Go credits stay with you indefinitely
  • Yours to keep - even if you cancel your subscription
  • Used second - Subscription Credits are always spent first

Spending Order​

When you use credits, Flow automatically spends them in this order:

  1. Subscription Credits (plan allowance) - used first
  2. Pay As You Go credits (purchased credits) - used only after Subscription Credits are depleted
  3. Additional Usage - applies when both Subscription Credits and Pay As You Go credits are depleted

This ensures your purchased credits are preserved as long as possible.

FAQ​

Do credits expire?​

Pay As You Go credits (purchased) never expire. Subscription Credits refill each billing cycle, and unused credits roll over up to your plan's rollover cap.

Can I cancel my subscription?​

Yes. Cancel anytime with no lock-in. You keep all your Pay As You Go credits.

What happens if I run out of credits?​

You can purchase more credits anytime from your dashboard. They'll be added to your Pay As You Go credits.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?​

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan from your dashboard.
